Roach Dynamos 2016 Boys and Girls Tournament – Under 7- Under14 RESPECT All participants and attendees must adhere to the spirit of the FA RESPECT campaign. This is about creating a fair, safe and enjoyable environment for everyone to enjoy football. Roach Dynamos JFC will not tolerate shouting abuse or foul language, unfair or negative criticism of referees, players or opposition players and officials. In addition there should be no form of discrimination against any individual involved. STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and dog mess to be cleaned up. Tournament Rules are in accordance with the FA Laws of the Game The tournament is a child friendly competition. It is about having fun. The competition will be played in a round robin format within a group. The top two from the group will play a semi-final and then a final to win a trophy and the remaining teams will play to win a plate in the same format. It is the responsibility of the team manager to ensure each player has adhered to the FA rules regarding competitive tournaments and playing time. All players will receive a medal. Player Eligibility No player registered with a F.A. Premier League or Football League Academy under the Elite Player Performance Plan contained within Youth Development Rules will be permitted to play in this Tournament. Anyone suspected to be playing contract players will be disqualified from the competition without refund and the respective academy notified. All managers must provide evidence of a players age either by photo ID (Passport) or league match card demonstrating the players eligibility. The respective age group is for the 2016/2017 playing season. No player can participate for more than one team. To participate in the tournament all players must have attained the age of six as at midnight on the 31st August 2016. Mini-Soccer Under 7 – the player must have attained the age of 6 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season but must be under the age of 7 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 8 – the player must be under the age of 8 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 9 – the player must be under the age of 9 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 10 – the player must be under the age of 10 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Youth Football Under 11 – the player must have attained the age of 10 but must be under the age of 11 by midnight 31st August in the playing season. Under 12 – the player must be under the age of 12 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 13 – the player must be under the age of 13 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 14 – the player must be under the age of 14 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season In accordance with the foregoing qualifications a player under the age of 15 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season must not play in a match where any other player is older or younger by 2 years or more. Team kits Each team must notify Roach Dynamos of the colour of their individual kit. Goal Keepers kits should be clearly distinguishable from the rest of the team. No kits shall be fully black/very dark shirts to prevent clashing with the referee. All teams should ensure an alternative kit is available in the event of a clash. In the event of the clash the team shown as the away team shall be required to change colours. Substitutions Any number of substitutions may be used at any time with the permission of the Referee. Entry onto the field of play will only be allowed during a stoppage in play. It is the team managers’ responsibility to ensure all players are safe to play. Any players not wearing appropriate equipment will be stopped from playing until the equipment is correctly worn. This is strictly for the individuals safety. Law 5 Referees Fully qualified referees will be provided for each game. Each match is controlled by a referee who has full authority to enforce the rules of the tournament in connection with the match to which they have been appointed. Law 6 Assistant Referee Assistant Referees are not required Law 7 Duration of the Game No player should play more than the FA guidelines during the day. Each team will be allocated a minimum of 60 (5v5), 72 (7v7), 84 (9v9 u11) and 108 (11v11) minutes of football respectively. It is the responsibility of the team manager to ensure that each player stays within these guidelines. Law 8 Start and Restart of Play A kick-off is taken at the centre of the playing area at the beginning of each half and after a goal has been scored. The ball must be played forward and no goals can be scored directly from a kick off. Opponents must be a minimum of 5 (5v5 + 7v7) 7 (9v9) and 9 (11v11) yards away from the kick off. Law 9 Ball in and out of play Normal Football Rules apply. Law 10 Method of Scoring Normal Football Rules apply. Law 11 Offside There are no offsides for Under 11 and below. Under 12 to Under 14 play normal football rules. Law 12 Fouls And Misconduct Normal rules apply except all free kicks are direct for Under 7 to Under 11. The Opponents must retreat a minimum of 5 (5v5 + 7v7) 7 (9v9) and 9 (11v11) yards away from the free kick. Law 14 Penalty Kicks Normal Rules apply. The ball must be played forward. Only the defending Goal Keeper and penalty taker are allowed within the area at the time of the penalty and all players must be at least 5 (5v5 + 7v7) 7 (9v9) and 9 (11v11) yards away from the penalty spot. Law 15 Throw Ins Normal Football Rules apply. Law 16 Goal Kicks Goal Kicks can be taken either off the floor or from the Goal Keepers hands from anywhere within the area or rolled to another player (under 7 to Under 9). The kick must be taken off the floor for all other age groups. The ball is in play when it leaves the area. If another defending player is taking the Goal Kick this must be taken off the floor. For Under 7 and Under 8 only (5 v 5) The opposition must retreat to their own half. The defending team do not need to wait for the opposition to retreat to take the Goal Kick. Law 17 Corner Kicks The opposing players must remain at least 5 (5v5 + 7v7) 7 (9v9) and 9 (11v11) yards away from the ball until it is in play. The kicker may not touch the ball again until it has touched another player. If he/she does, a free kick is awarded against them. The ball is in play immediately when it enters the field of play. Tournament Points  Win = 3 points  Score draw = 2 points  No score draw = 1 point  Loss = 0 points  In the event that teams are tied on equal points at the end of the group stage, the following order will apply to determine placings ; 1. Goal difference 2. Goals for 3. Head to head result 4. Penalty shootout ; 7 a side 3 penalties each, 9 a side 4 penalties each, 11 a side 5 penalties each. Should any of the final games end in a draw, a penalty shoot out will decide on the winner. Protests and Complaints Any complaints or protests regarding any infringement of the rules can be made at the club officials tent to a tournament official. All infringements will be investigated and the club officials decision is final with regards to any disputes. Any team found to be infringing the rules may be disqualified with no refund.
