Development Centres

Fundamental to the new structure will be our FlagShip Development Centres. – These promise to be very exciting and will be a great opportunity for all clubs to be part ofThe centres will cater for structured provision at Under 10’s and also remove a couple of the most daunting barriers a club faces when setting up girls provision.

1.) The recruitment of players

2.) The recruitment of female coaches

The Development Centres will cater for the above and provide Clubs with the Player and Workforce resource to grow the Girls and Women’s game within Greater Manchester as well as helping to grow the number of female referees.

Now all Clubs can offer a provision for Girls! – Helping you and your club attain Development and Community Club Status

In summary, the Development Centres will be where possible indoor provision and will be for players aged Under 10.  These will be open pay and play centres at a £1 per session and will all be affiliated and have paid coaching provision with Level 2 coaches and Level 1 mentored female coaches.   The sessions will be focused around fun sessions followed by Mini-Soccer fair play matches.
